P22 - Automated Wayfinding

In this section students will work on controlling the robots location on the field in an automated manner. Both dead reckoning and sensor based reckoning is involved.

P23 - Automated Pathing

In this section students will work on determining paths for the robot in an automated manner. This includes optimizing robot movement from place to place to include things like splines or curves, not just direct movements and rotations, as per automated wayfinding.

P24 - Field Orienteering

In this section students will work on setting the robots position relative to the field. This includes things like setting specific headings relative to the field, controlling driving so that it is relative to the field not the robot’s heading, and more.

P25 - Vision Tracking

In this section students will work on using cameras and other light sensors to do vision tracking of reflective targets. This includes aiming the robot drivetrain or mechanism using automated control.
