CNC Machining II

Fabrication 27 - CNC Mill II

In CNC Mill II a Master Fabricator learns all of the abilities necessary to a 3D CAD model and turn it into a finished part on the CNC Mill. This includes any model modifications necessary for CAM (Computer Aided Machining) and then the CAM work itself. Then, the creation of an instruction file for how to use the created G-code so that a CNC Mill I Fabricator can run the operations, if necessary.

Fabrication 28 - CNC Plasma II

A Master Fabricator is able to start up and perform maintenance on the CNC Plasma, including replacing the torch consumables. They are familiar with the CAM operations necessary to tile or pattern multiple parts at once to increase production speed. They are also able to fine tune the methods to ensure that any new materials produce good results.
